The Purple Symphony
The Purple Symphony was set up as a platform for musicians to learn and share music with one aother, support inclusion, celebrate their abilities, and serve the community as one.

Join Singapore’s largest inclusive orchestra as they champion climate action for the environment through music! Led by Artistic Director Quek Ling Kiong, The Purple Symphony comprises more than 100 musicians with and without special needs, accompanied by a special choir.

Listen as they profess their love for the environment through a repertoire of melodic pieces, from popular soundtracks such as “Colours of the Wind” to timeless classics like “Blue Danube”.

The Purple Symphony
Led by Artistic Director & Conductor Mr Quek Ling Kiong, The Purple Symphony has grown in the past few years, with more musicians with and without special needs signing up as members of this meaningful initiative.
The orchestra comprises 90 members making up five key musical sections: Percussion, Strings (Plucked), Strings (Bow), Winds, and Choir.
Facilitated by Central Singapore Community Development Council, The Purple Symphony is a collaborative project made possible with the support of passionate individual musicians and musicians from various organisations.
